Things to know before booking stroke physiotherapy
Home Environment: Please ensure a clear, safe space for the assessment and therapy session. All pets to be put away for the session.
Clothing: Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and supportive footwear that allows for easy movement and joint evaluation.
Medical Records: Have any recent hospital discharge summaries or relevant medical letters available for the initial assessment. This includes any documents you would like to share.
Support Person: Due to the nature of strokes, it is essential for family members or carers to join the session to learn supportive techniques for daily progress. When completing the booking form, please sign to show you have read and understood this. Session will be cancelled/postponed if no chaperone present.Â
Appointment Window: As a mobile service, please allow a 15-minute window around your scheduled start time for travel variability.

A focused 60-minute session providing hands-on therapy and exercises. Ideal for ongoing rehabilitation and maintaining consistent progress. Includes review of progress and goals.Â
A comprehensive 60–75 minute evaluation of your current mobility and goals. Best for new clients beginning their recovery journey.
Fees & Rebates
We believe in transparent pricing to help you focus entirely on your recovery journey. All session costs are discussed upfront prior to your first home visit.
Initial Assessment (60-75 mins)- £90
Standard Treatment Session (60 mins). - £80
All payments to be made prior to therapy session. 100% refund on cancellations up to three days prior to appointment. A 50% appointment charge will be taken within 48 hours cancellation. Â 100% charge will be taken for not attending appointment without prior cancellation or within 24 hours.
Many clients are eligible for private health insurance rebates or government support schemes. As providers vary, we recommend checking with your specific insurance company or plan coordinator to confirm your level of cover for home-based physiotherapy.
